This Privacy Policy explains how J BAR S Contracting, LLC, doing business as "Planned Home Maintenance" ("Planned," "we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit planned.llc, enroll in our service, or communicate with us. By using our service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us:
- Your name, home address, email address, and mobile phone number
- Details about your home and service needs, and any notes or requests you provide
- Payment information you enter at checkout (processed by our payment processor — see below)
Information we create in providing service:
- Your service history, appointment records, and plan details
- Before-and-after photos of the work performed at your home, and notes from each visit
Information collected automatically when you use our website:
- Basic device and usage data (such as browser type, pages viewed, and referring links)
- Marketing attribution data, including UTM parameters passed from ads to our signup page, and information collected by advertising and analytics tools (such as the Meta and TikTok advertising pixels) that help us measure and improve our ads
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Schedule, deliver, and document your quarterly maintenance service
- Process payments and manage your membership and billing
- Send you service-related communications by text and email (appointment confirmations, reminders, visit recaps, review requests, rebooking and renewal reminders, and billing notices)
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
- Operate, secure, and improve our website and service
- Measure the performance of our advertising
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
3. Text Messaging (SMS) and Your Mobile Information
If you provide your mobile number and consent, we send you text messages related to your service and account, as described in our Terms of Service. You can reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The categories of information described in this Policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates. We share your mobile number only with our messaging provider strictly to deliver our own messages to you, and never sell it.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited ways:
- Service providers who help us run the business, and only to perform work for us. These currently include: Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (text messaging), Supabase (secure data storage), Google (calendar scheduling), Vercel (website hosting), and our email delivery provider. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics providers (such as Meta and TikTok), which receive website-activity data through their pixels for ad measurement — this does not include your SMS opt-in data, as stated in Section 3.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Planned, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers, if Planned is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information consistent with this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your membership is active and as needed to provide the service, then for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (such as Stripe for payment data) for sensitive processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time. Opting out may limit our ability to send service reminders and confirmations.
- Email: you may unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those messages.
- Access, correction, or deletion: you may request that we access, update, or delete your personal information by contacting us at Contact@planned.llc. We will respond as required by applicable law. Note that some information must be retained to meet legal or contractual obligations.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website and service are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
10. Changes to This Policy
